Avenida Nossa Senhora do Sameiro, in Braga
 
The Grotto of Nossa Senhora de Lurdes appears at the back of the Basilica, on Avenida Nossa Senhora do Sameiro, parish of Espinho, city of Braga, northern Portugal.
The characteristics of the cave of Nossa Senhora de Lourdes in the Sameiro Sanctuary
 
The cave appears in the form of a cavity found in limestone rocks also called dolomitic limestone, and was artificially built in the form of a cave or cave and at the top we can see vines decorating the top of the walls.

From the Basilica at the back, going down a staircase, we find a cave where an image of a Virgin dressed all in white appears inside, her two hands together in the form of prayer, a rosary in her arms, and the cave appears surrounded by an iron roof painted green.

Outside we can see small trees such as camellias, grassy corners, and here devotees can say their prayers and give alms to a lake full of water located inside the cave.
