Largo de São Tiago, in Braga
 
The monument is located in Largo de São Tiago, in front of the Seminary and at the main entrance of the Pius XII Museum, in the city of Braga, northern Portugal.

This monument is made up of a cylinder made of bronze, where there is a carved inscription referring to the founding of the city in the year 14 BC. C. by the Romans with the name of Bracara Augusta, becoming the capital of the province of Gallaecia.

On the ground starting from this cylinder you can see stone triangles with the six Roman roads that left the city.
