This Braga Live Science Center is located on Rua Maria Delfina Gomes, city of Braga, northern Portugal.
The location and purpose of the Casa da Ciência de Braga
 
The Braga Planetarium or House of Science belongs to the Network of Centers of the National Science Viva Agency.

This Science Center promotes science and technology by encouraging early motivation in children through experiments and research in the laboratory, astronomical observations, models and general principles, increasing human knowledge of how the Universe works.

The space was born in the recovery of an old building, becoming an interactive space for scientific and technological dissemination that functions as a knowledge platform for all visitors.

The House of Science in Braga consists of the following spaces: Immersive Planetarium, Experimental Laboratory, Pedagogical Pond, Computer Room, Mobile Planetarium, Astronomical Observatory and DÓING Laboratory and Café com Ciência.

In this space there are lots of activities to do, such as: family workshops, planetarium sessions, astronomical observations, training and walks.

In this space there are study visits for schools and the public with reservations made in advance.

The monitors of the activities that accompany people have specialties from different areas of science such as: Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Astronomy.
